The Connecticut Attorney General ('AG') announced, on 2 September 2020, that it had sent, along with the District of Columbia AG, a letter ('the Letter') to Easy Healthcare Corporation, which provides the Premom application, questioning the company's data sharing and privacy practices. In particular, the Letter highlights reports which allege that the company had shared sensitive user data with third-party advertising and analytics firms without disclosing this to users or obtaining their consent, which includes location data, persistent device identifiers, and inventories of all applications installed on users' phones. As a result, the Letter urges the company to provide information on the
