UK: Data Protection and Digital Information Bill introduced in Parliament

Summary

The UK Parliament introduced the Data Protection and Digital Information Bill on November 8, 2023, aiming to update and simplify the UK's data protection framework. On November 8, 2023, the UK Parliament introduced the Data Protection and Digital Information Bill (the Bill) which carries over the Data Protection and Digital Information (No. 2) Bill (Bill No.2), and reintroduces it in the 2023-24 session.
